Desired Candidate Profile
- Expertise in pixel art or 3D modelling and animation in both low and high polygons. The ideal candidate will have examples of 2D or 3D animations for small screen devices
- Understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash - Adobe Premiere or similar and Combustion experience will be highly appreciated. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years experience as an artist in a mobile video game developer or handheld/console/PC game developer. Will also highly value candidates those with web design and/or publicity design background Ability to demonstrate artistic talent (examples should show this)
- Understanding of the key issues surrounding mobile game development – screen size, resolution and memory restrictions - Critical understanding and enjoyment of a wide variety of game genres

Job Description
- Reporting to the team leader artist and working with the producer to develop video games for mobile handsets - Creating characters, vehicles, backgrounds, tiles, in-game icons, etc. - Creating logos for games and corresponding cover art - Ensuring artistic quality of all material associated with the game including screenshots and video presentations - Creation of high-quality graphics for marketing of games for use within print press and television advertising, including animated 3D video - Working to schedules and hitting milestones - Actively participate in generating ideas for games, and artistic methods - Focus on end user satisfaction - Work as part of the team in its search to continuously improve game quality - Be responsible to mentoring and train new art team staff
